A big warm welcome to our newest addition to our SortRefer team! 

Lauren works in our South Shields office alongside Malcolm Etchells, BDM for the North East and Scotland regions. 

We spent some time getting to know Lauren a little bit more...

 

How have you found it at SortRefer so far?

I have really enjoyed myself at SortRefer so far. It is not like anywhere else I have worked before. I feel valued and everyone is so friendly and supportive.

What did you do before joining SortRefer?

I was a Team Leader at a marketing company within the education sector.

Tell us something a few people know about you?

I absolutely love karaoke! I turn into a tribute act of Celine Dion - Just like magic!

Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of work?

I love spending time with family and visiting new places. I enjoy a good thriller/crime series in front of the TV on a rainy day and I am also a sucker for reality TV.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

Spain! As long as I could take the people I care about with me. It's a different way of life. The sun is mostly shining, they do the best sangria, they sell Gambas Pil Pil pretty much everywhere you go and you don't need an excuse to Siesta! I just love how chilled and relaxed it is there. 

How would your friends and family describe you?

Caring, kind and loud, with a sprinkle of crazy and a whole lot of fun!

What do you think you can bring to SortRefer?

A 'can do' attitude, dedication, determination, positivity, motivation and being an excellent team player. I am driven and as long as the opportunity was available I would like to think I could work my way up within the company and if you believe you can, you're already halfway there!
