A big warm welcome to Wesley Davies, who joins us as our New Business Development Manager in the South-Central Region.
This week we caught up with Wesley to get to know him a little more, find about his career so far and his favorite hobbies.

What attracted you to SortRefer?
SortRefer has an amazing name in the industry (if not the best), with a great team that I am really excited to be part of. The SortRefer platform clearly demonstrates that they are lightyears ahead and are on top of the game.
What did you do before joining the team?
Tell us about your previous experience? For a number of years, I have worked closely with Estate Agents, Mortgage brokers and Solicitors providing their clients all of the services required to ensure they receive the full support in their moving process from start to finish.
What are your professional goals for the year ahead?
To simply put it, my goal is to become a successful BDM at SortRefer and make sure my area coverage becomes number 1 throughout the UK. (Although I do have very strong competition).
If money was no object, what would you do all day?
Surf, Golf, Braai (BBQ) Repeat.
Tell us something few people know about you?
Once upon a time in my very younger days I was a Pro Skateboarder and even came 4th in South Africa.
Do you have any hobbies? If so, how did you get into them?
I enjoy Golf (Mainly in the summer), Surfing and Scuba-Diving.
I was fortunate enough to grow up in South Africa very close to the beach, so the Ocean has always been part of my life, however with Golf I was told that it was a very relaxing sport to do (I was lied to!) As much as I enjoy Golf, it is mostly ‘a good walk spoilt!’
What led you to pursue your current career?
Sales will always push you to become the best and there is no better feeling once you have achieved your goals. This gives me the opportunity to travel and meet new people.
Who inspires you?
My father is my biggest inspiration. He has the power of likeness and whoever meets him will love him forever.
How would your friends describe you?
Pain in the A**, The friend that convinces you to stay for one more.
If you had to describe yourself as an animal, which one would it be?
I have no idea but knowing my luck if I get reincarnated, I will probably come back as a Flea.
