Ed has joined our SortRefer team at an exciting time, working closely alongside your Regional Business Development Manager, Neil Keenan, and Business Development Executive, Jordan Tunnicliffe, to provide you with support across the East region.
From navigating our systems to supporting you with case management and general enquiries, Ed is here to assist you with all your SortRefer case and platform needs.
Getting to know Ed...
To help you get to know the man behind the phone, we chatted with Ed to learn more about him.
How have you found it at SortRefer so far?
It’s been very good. A very welcoming environment with good support, and I’ve enjoyed the work.
What made you want to join our SortRefer team?
It seemed like a very welcoming group and the work looked enjoyable. I quite like talking to a variety of people, and it seemed to focus on the parts of my previous job that I’d really enjoyed.
What did you do before joining?
I worked in customer success in the finance sector.
What will your main responsibilities be as Regional Support for the East region?
To help support my BDM, Neil, and work on maintaining the clients currently in the region and helping to grow it.
What kind of support can advisers in the East region expect from you?
I aim to be reliable with any support I give and quick when I need to chase or look into anything for an adviser.
Tell us something a few people know about you...
I’m a third dan black belt.
Outside of work, how do you like to spend your time?
I enjoy spending time with my friends or just staying in and reading.
Do you have any interesting hobbies or interests outside of work?
I’ve been getting more into crafting lately and teaching myself to crochet.
If you could invent one thing. What would it be?
Teleportation, I think it would be very useful.
What’s one thing on your bucket list?
I’d love to travel the world more.
What is your favourite film/TV show?
My favourite TV show is Midnight Mass.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I’d like to have been able to progress my career and be settled.
What would you say to someone looking to start a career in Conveyancing?
If it’s something that interests you, I think it’s worth looking into. It’s a good space with lots to get into.
