The Challenge
TS Mortgages were faced with a common challenge in the conveyancing industry, where the solicitor was not providing updates on a sale and purchase case that they were dealing with. This meant that there was a breakdown in communication, and no progress was being made. This caused frustration for all those involved, particularly the sellers of the property.
The Solution
The issue was raised following a conversation between TS Mortgages and SortRefer and Dawn stepped in to get clarity on the situation. She spoke with the case handler at the solicitors to express the concerns and find out what the hold up on information was. From then, regular and consistent updates were provided to TS Mortgages from both Dawn and the case handler.
The Outcome
Due to the lack of communication between several parties, including the case handler and the estate agent, the sellers were on the verge of pulling out. However, the result of Dawn’s intervention was that the case was completed, and on time! This is the ultimate goal for all cases, and by TS Mortgages and SortRefer working closely, it was achieved.
