1.    When did you join SortRefer?

I joined SortRefer in September 2014

2.    What was your previous role?

I joined the company straight from college, but I used to work one day a week at my uncle’s financial advisory firm,  where I generated an interest in this industry. However, since starting at SortRefer I have progressed from being a customer service adviser to senior relationship executive.

3.    What does your day usually consist of?

It is very mixed. I deal with a lot of queries from our solicitor panel and do a lot of the work behind the scenes, such as ensuring all solicitors cases are updated within the SLA, monitoring feedback for our panel and ensuring the fees and what we quote on our website is as up to date as possible. With more solicitors joining our panel, we want to ensure we are as proactive as we can. The Customer Service team pride ourselves on helping our brokers and putting service first, and as a result, the relationship team is expanding in order for us to do this as well as we possibly can.

4.    What do you enjoy the most about your job?

Liaising with our solicitor panel and helping them with any queries they may have. Also, the team is continually expanding, and I have a lot of involvement with the inductions for new starters within the team, so I enjoy educating them on SortRefer and helping them get used to the website.

5.    Tell us something exciting that is coming up?

For me personally, my holiday to Cape Verde!

6.    What do you enjoy about working at SortRefer?

You learn something new every day. I have been at the company for nearly five years, and my knowledge of the industry and the company has grown a lot during this time which has put me in a position to help the new starters that join the team. I also love the team that I work in as everyone remains positive and is always happy to help each other even on those busier days.

7.    What would you like to achieve in the next year?

To pass the final module of my CeMap exam and finally be CeMap qualified!

8.    What’s your favourite meal?

A Chinese takeaway! Or if I am cooking, I do like making a roast dinner with homemade Yorkshires

9.    What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I do enjoy cooking, and in my spare time I do a lot of baking, I like trying out new recipes and giving the leftovers to the team to try! (If there are any!)

10.    What are the top 3 advantages of using SortRefer?

A fabulous support team, a broad product range, and an easy to use system.
