Equity Loans have been available for many years, designed by the Government to help people get onto the property ladder. When it comes to the end of the interest free period after five years, the homeowner has a number of options to pay the loan back, including full redemption of the loan without the need for a remortgage. We have a created a dedicated Conveyancing option for this.
If your client also requires a standard Valuation as part of the process, you can also obtain a quote for this at the same time.
How to Quote?
· Head to ‘Quote/Refer’ once logged in to the SortRefer website.
· Click ‘Help to Buy’ and proceed to quote. You’ll be asked if you require a Standalone Redemption of the Help to Buy loan without the need of a Remortgage.
· If you choose yes, you’ll be taken to the Standalone Help to Buy Redemption page to start your quote. If you choose no, you’ll be taken to the Help to Buy Remortgage quote page (see product leaflet for further information on this.)
Please note that when filling in the quotation form for the Standalone Help to Buy Redemption, you'll be asked if you require a valuation to be linked to the Redemption. If you choose yes, once you save the Conveyancing quotation, you'll be directed straight to the Valuation quotation form. Here, you'll be able to fill in the details to obtain a quote. If you choose to instruct both the Redemption and Valuation, you will be able to access the linked case via either case's tracking page.
