We have decided it is time to beef up our conveyancing offering by inviting five heavyweight firms to join our already-strong legal panel.
We are expanding our servicing capacity as we gear up for anticipated annual growth of more than 200% in 2014.
Joining forces with Martin Tolhurst of Kent, Telford-based Martin Kaye, Birmingham Company, Davisons, PLS from Altrincham, and Stephensons, who have a major regional presence in the north-west of England, means that mortgage brokers and financial advisers who use our online platform are now able to use more firms with a proven conveyancing pedigree.
"We are naturally delighted to be able to welcome five legal firms into the SortRefer fold that have such outstanding conveyancing pedigrees,” commented Managing Director, Kevin Tunnicliffe.
"The new firms are well-known to us and have a proven track record in delivering high quality work on time and to budget.
"They have excellent reputations in the market and will compliment our existing panel members, all of whom are among the top 30 firms in the UK who specialise in conveyancing.”
Martin Kaye, PLS and Stephensons will cater for the sale, purchase and remortgage needs of our growing community of mortgage brokers and financial advisers, while Davisons and Martin Tolhurst will initially focus solely on sale and purchase transactions.
The recent tie-up with Mortgage Advice Bureau, as part of MAB's newly launched Conveyancing proposition, has partly necessitated the expansion of the panel. Alliances with other large networks are currently in negotiation.
A key requirement of all the firms that we do business with is that they are able to manage potentially large volumes of conveyancing cases.
"As we grow, we will be providing large numbers of cases to each of our panel members,” added Kevin. "So they need to have tried and tested infrastructures capable of meeting demand.
"I'm delighted to say that all five firms who have recently joined us exceed our expectations in this regard – and they also have strong reputations for meeting customer needs. So there is a really good fit between us.”
