Get to know Hayley Louise O’Reilly
Meet Hayley Louise O’Reilly, a trained Mortgage Adviser who has always been interested in the financial industry and has been using us since 2013. Find out a little bit more about Hayley, including her favourite places to travel and why she uses SortRefer.
1. How long have you been in the finance industry and was it something you always wanted to do?
I have been in finance since I was 19 and I worked for Tesco Bank, it is all I have ever known and been interested in!
2. How long have you been using SortRefer?
Since I joined MAB back in 2013. I brought SortRefer into Coreco with me in 2016.
3. What is your favourite thing about SortRefer? And how does it help you in your job role?
I am sure I am not the only one who gets frustrated with free legals. In our profession, you have to work so hard to get every mortgage. SortRefer allows me to continue the high level of customer service through the end part of the journey too by using their Fixed Price Remortgage product instead of free legals.
4. What is the best & worst thing about your job?
Seeing my academy advisers become fully qualified gives me huge job satisfaction, but I am bad at taking my work home and staying up all night, so that’s the bad bit!
5. What are your three most important values/rules to live by?
- Don’t hold grudges
- Travel often
- Take risks and leave your comfort zone
6. Tell us something most people don’t know about you?
Since the age of 15, I have been a fully qualified lifeguard.
7. What do you like to do in your spare time?
Travel, travel, travel!
8. Where are your top three countries/places to visit? And why?
New Zealand, Cambodia & Iceland. All such wonderful countries I have explored – you need to go off the beaten track to fully see these countries at their finest.
9. If you could be any animal in the world, what animal would you be and why?
I would be a tortoise, they live forever.
