Kat, our new Regional Account Manager in the South East of England
Meet Kat, our new Regional Account Manager in the South East of England. Her journey started as an optical adviser, then leaving that world behind she became a mortgage adviser in 2012. She spent five years in total working as a mortgage broker, three years in the UK and two years in Dubai. In her spare time, you can find her at music festivals, concerts and live music gigs; her favourite music is rock music.
From England to Dubai
After three years working as a mortgage broker in England, Kat accepted a job at estate agent Allsopp & Allsopp in Dubai which meant learning a fifth language, moving home and adjusting to a new culture. Although it was a complete change, the biggest difference was the environment and selling financial services in a different marketplace. The variety of clients, homeowners and sellers meant the ability to adapt and build relationships is hugely beneficial to us at SortRefer.
Visiting clients out on the road meant that the experience, knowledge and the client service was a great fit for our company. We now have three salespeople out on the road in the West, North London and the South East.

Kat’s experience of using SortRefer extends past logging onto the portal, which is free, quick and easy, by the way. When Kat was a broker in the UK she used to use SortRefer and was even awarded a case of 13 luxury bottles of wine, winning a company competition back in 2015.
