Our Solicitor partners have high standards of client care which have helped them achieve their status amongst the top conveyancing firms in the country. Whether for Standard Remortgage, Fixed Price Remortgage or Buy to Let Fixed Price Remortgage, the SortRefer process for quoting and instructing the legal side of a property transaction is simple to use and the client-facing quotations are comprehensive, yet easy to understand. The services are all very competitively priced and offer you the facility to select the amount you will earn for each referral. Please note the icons on the quote form, as these will shape your client’s quotation and make it as accurate as possible.
Our Standard Remortgage option gives a wider choice of supplier and the referral fees are more flexible, with you being able to choose to earn up to £300.
We have 6 x Fixed Price Remortgage deals available in England/Wales and 1 x Fixed Price Remortgage deal that is available in Scotland. All of these products are designed to work well with a Lender's cashback option (free legals alternative).
They offer a competitive price for your client, whilst still offering a referral fee. The referral fee given depends on the loan amount and the deal selected. We have a small select panel of suppliers who offer the Fixed Price Remortgage deals.
A Transfer of Equity involves the removal, or the adding of people named on the legal title of a property. What we mean by a ‘stand-alone’ transfer of equity is one where no simultaneous change of lender is taking place. Please note that if your client needs a transfer of equity at the same time as a Remortgage, please see our ‘Remortgage’ section instead.
This service can be used regardless of whether there is an outstanding mortgage on the property, just as long as the transfer doesn’t involve a change of lender.
If the property is mortgaged and the property owner intends to keep the same mortgage, they must obtain the approval of their lender to the transfer. There are many reasons as to why a lender may not approve a transfer and because of this, our solicitors will not start working on a stand-alone transfer of equity on a mortgaged property until they have the written approval of the lender for it to go ahead.
