Phil Goff
Our Head of Sales, Phil Goff is celebrating two years with the business. We’ve spoken to him to find out some of his favourite moments and what he’s learnt in this time.
In two years what are two stand out things that you’ve learnt?
- Just how much advisers can benefit from using SortRefer; particularly additional income opportunities and how they can maintain control during the conveyancing process.
- How technology can improve the customer journey. Many industry processes are in need of modernisation.
What have been your two favourite days at SortRefer so far?
- My first day at SortRefer! It felt great to be part of a young, fresh company with a real vision of the future.
- The launch of our new offices in Derby and spending time with our clients and suppliers. It was a great day and the table magician was unbelievable!
What are two great milestones you’ve experienced in the past two years?
- Achieving our best ever day/week/month for sales in the same month – January 2018.
- Spending the evening with our guests and winning the 2017 Moneyfacts award for Best Conveyancing/Legal Search Provider
Personally, what two things have you done that have been incredible in the past two years?
- Starting to play 11-a-side football again competitively (After being put back together again by a great specialist and physio!)
- Encouraging two good friends into sharing a passion for road cycling, one after a mild heart attack.
Work wise, what two things have you done that have been incredible in the past two years?
- Implementing our new Sales Strategy and seeing both our customers and the company grow from strength to strength.
- Adding to the sales support team with new staff in both the field and telephony teams. We now have some fabulous people who are fully committed to helping our customers.
What two things are you looking forward to doing in the next two years at SortRefer?
- I’m looking forward to beating our best ever month for sales and then to beat that record!
- Contributing to making the house sale and purchase process much simpler.
