How have you found it at Sort Group so far?

What made you want to join our Sort Group team?
The company culture was clear from the outset, it was a major draw for me. After my first meetings with Sort Group, I walked away feeling inspired by future plans for growth and development in tech and property sectors. Ultimately, it's an exciting time to join Sort Group, an opportunity I couldn’t pass up!
What did you do before joining Sort?
Before joining Sort Group, I had the privilege of working in medical marketing. This experience helped me develop a strong ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively. I’m excited to bring these skills to my new role and contribute to the continued success and growth of the company.
How would you define SEO and why do you think it is important for businesses?
SEO, or Search Engine Optimisation, is the process of improving your website’s visibility on search engines like Google. The higher your website ranks, the more likely potential customers are to find you, leading to increased traffic, sales, and overall business growth. In simple terms, SEO helps your business stand out online.
Although SEO can seem like a bit of a dark art, it’s actually a crucial part of any company’s digital marketing strategy. I love diving into the data and using it to spark creative marketing ideas that drive specific SEO goals and boost online performance.
Do you have any interesting hobbies or interests outside of work?
You’ll often find me enjoying the outdoors, particularly the beautiful white beaches of Northumberland with my Labrador 'Honey'. I have a keen interest in property and functional design. Interior design is something I truly enjoy; There’s always a renovation project underway at home!
What’s one thing on your bucket list?
Travel - I'd like to see more of the world, I enjoy meeting new people and experiencing life in other cultures.
What is your favourite film/TV show?
I’m definitely guilty of binge-watching anything related to property development—there’s something so addictive about watching transformations unfold.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Enjoy the present moment and don’t be afraid to fail.
