Please note, any additional work required on top (outside of the Help to Buy Redemption/Deed of Postponement) will incur an additional cost, which won’t be shown on the bottom line of the quote.

Additional work and extra costs

We know that each Conveyancing case can be different from the next, which means cases will unavoidably incur extra work and therefore, additional costs to pay for the added time and effort required to carry out the case.

Here are some examples of additional work/costs (please note this list is not exhaustive):

  • Unregistered Title
  • Satisfying Special Conditions in a Mortgage Offer
  • Dealing with a rent charge
  • Dealing with an Indemnity policy
  • Dealing with 3rd Party Lawyers
  • Repayment of Secured charges
  • Solar Panel Lease Approval
  • TT Fee for Payment of Excess Funds

Which Remortgage option? A side-by-side comparison

To help you decide which Remortgage option is best suited for you and your clients, please look at our ‘Remortgage Options’ leaflet, which contains a comparison chart.

For the full product details of our Remortgage options, please refer to our product leaflets that can be found in your Broker Toolkit within your SortRefer dashboard.

*Please be aware, the ‘fixed’ element refers to the legals cost only, meaning some additional disbursements will be added on top of the Fixed Price Legals cost.
