We've made some changes to our Stamp Duty Check product. We're pleased to advise the Stamp Check is now available for any case, not just the complex ones.
It's also now FREE (unless Certified Tax Advice is required, then a fee is discussed case-by-case basis)
Please see the new Stamp Duty Check process below:
1. To start the Stamp Duty Check process, please click 'Continue To Quote' above to enter your client's details into the referral form. Please note that if the case is linked to a purchase case you have already instructed to SortRefer, you will be able to connect the case, which will auto-populate some of the information to save you double keying. Once the form is filled in, click 'refer' to get started on the Stamp Duty Check Questionnaire.
2. Clicking 'refer' will send you to the Stamp Duty Check questionnaire, where you must enter your email address.
3. Please fill in the Questionnaire on the client's behalf to get the Stamp Duty Estimation. Please note this will be either one figure or a higher and lower range.
4. After the figure, an option will be asked if you want to "Refer for detailed review?" If selected, you just input the client contact details, send, and Cornerstone will automatically be notified of the client's details, and they will call/email the client within 24 hours to discuss.
Please note for a guaranteed and certified land tax figure, there will be a fee charged. This is discussed on a case-by-case basis.
