The Financial Reporter Women’s Recognition Awards Launched back in 2018. The award aims to support the need for a more diverse and equal financial services community.
Since the introduction of HM Treasury’s Women in Finance Charter, momentum has grown for the movement, seeking to make Financial Services a welcoming space for women, giving them the equal opportunity to thrive.
This year SortRefer entered Tina Fisher, Head of Customer Services, into the Women in Management Category.
Tina has now been announced finalists alongside, Donna Brenchley from Mortgage Advice Bureau and Amanda Fenner from HSBC. We are incredibly proud of Tina for making it to the Finalist stage, and we wish her the best of luck!
To say a special congratulations and thanks for all of Tina’s hard work this year, we asked some of her team to give us reasons why they feel Tina should win the award and an insight into what it is like to work alongside her.
Emma Brown – Head of Marketing
“When I found out Tina was Finalist for the ‘Women in Management’ category, I was over the moon for her. I’ve been lucky enough to work with Tina for just over five years now and have seen how she has developed her team and, in turn, the company in her job role. Tina gives 110% effort to everything and is very loyal, committed, and passionate about her role at the company and the team she looks after. Tina deserves her name to be up in lights as a finalist at the Women’s Recognition Awards. She’s already a winner to us here at Sort, but it’s so lovely to see her getting the recognition she deserves from our industry too.”
Natasha Marriott – Customer Service Advisor
“Tina is an amazing manager who supports the team fully throughout work and personal circumstances. Tina is compassionate, funny, approachable, and, most of all, very knowledgeable regarding her job. Tina is always on hand to help and support, and she will always explain things in the best way possible. Nothing is too much for Tina. Tina completely deserves to be a finalist in this category as her dedication and passion shine through. She is amazing.”
Llewela Holford – Customer Service Advisor
“I haven’t known Tina long, but for a short while, I have. she has made my experience at Sort Refer a wonderful one. From my first day to the present, tina has made sure I feel comfortable and confident in what I do. She has been a brilliant teacher, and I couldn’t think of anyone else more deserving of the award.”
Yvonne Ulyett – Customer Service Advisor
“Tina has made me feel welcomed and appreciated from the moment I stepped into the office for my training. Her warmth and continued guidance have ensured that she is approachable at all times, and nothing is ever too much trouble for her. Tina automatically picks up an off day and will always ask if you want to talk. Tina more than deserves this award; in my opinion, I have never had such an amazing work family before, and it is all down to Tina.”
