Introducing our newest member of the customer service team, Llewela Holford.
Llewela's new role will be in Key Account Support.
Join us as we get to know Llewela on a more personal basis, her reasons for joining SortRefer and, of course, her love for the classic Angel Delight!
What made you want to join the SortRefer Team?
I wanted a change of career and also started going through the process of buying my first house. When seeing the advertisement for the essential account support, I was interested in the job and felt like that was a good challenge for me, and all the reviews about the company made me think it would be a great company to work for.
Tell us about your previous experience. What did you do before joining SortRefer?
I was previously working for a fabrication company, where I would draw the projects for the welders and plasma operators to build while keeping the clients were kept happy and deadlines were hit on time.
What do you enjoy the most about working in Customer Service?
I like making that connection with my customers and putting myself in their situations. It can be a very humbling experience, and it makes me appreciate even more what I can do for them and that I am there to help—making a difference in someone's life.
Could you describe your role to us? What is Key Account Support?
It provides a service to firms with inadequate services ranging from poor communication from our suppliers, Delays in transactions, or customer dissatisfaction.
With my support, I make sure I get regular detailed updates for the brokers and make sure case handlers update the Sort Refer portal.
This then provides the firm and brokers with the assurance that all their issues are being dealt with efficiently and professionally.
What are you looking forward to most about working for SortRefer?
I am currently buying my first house, so it cool to learn everything about the housing industry while going through the process at the same time.
What do you want to achieve in the next year?
Finally doing my motorbike license!
Tell us something most people don’t know about you?
I did my MA in animation at Bristol UWE; while studying, I had the opportunity to have master classes at Aardman and be taught by some of the best animators around. If people don’t know who Aardman are, they’re the creators of (Wallace and Gromit, Chicken Run and Morph )
What did you want to be when you were small?
From an early age, I have always loved animation. Still, after watching Ray Harryhausen, like Jason and the Argonauts and the golden voyage of Sinbad, I had dreams of being a stop motion animator.
What motivates you to work hard?
To become better at my job and complete the goals I set out for myself.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Angel Delight, because why not…
