We are delighted to announce Ruth’s promotion here at SortRefer from Telephone Account Assistant to your West Telephone Account Manager.
Since joining the SortRefer team in September 2020, Ruth has shown tremendous growth in her knowledge of the industry and has received many compliments from brokers for her incredible efforts, going above and beyond to help any inquiry form.
With a thirst for knowledge in the Conveyancing world, Ruth is always up for a challenge, making her the ideal candidate to be your new Telephone Account Manager!

As part of our celebration, we asked Ruth some questions so you could get to know her a little more.
What are you most looking forward to in your new position as a Telephone Account Manager for the West Region?
I’m looking forward to building up great relationships with brokers and hopefully cementing with them that SortRefer offers the best service on the market.
Are you looking forward to working alongside Paul Gregory, the Regional Account Manager for the West Region?
I have worked with Paul for a while now, and like the way he works, he has the same business attitude as me, and I think we will make a fantastic team.
How long have you been working for SortRefer?
I joined SortRefer in September 2020.
What was your previous job role before joining SortRefer?
I was a qualified childcare practitioner.
What questions do you mostly get asked by brokers?
I normally get asked about getting updates on cases, helping with non-standards and recommendations for specific suppliers on panel to help with certain cases.
What is your favourite part about working for SortRefer?
I enjoy seeing a case through to completion and knowing that I have supported the broker. Another part of the job I enjoy is the colleagues I work with. We have such a great team, and I feel lucky to be part of it.
What do you want to achieve in the next year?
I want to grow our area with Paul, hopefully, get out and meet more of our brokers.
Tell us something most people don’t know about you?
I love sport. My favourite is cricket which I go to see as many times as I can!
I also love F1, football and Boxing.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I have signed up to 7000 steps a day in March to raise money for the Mental Health Foundation. I have really enjoyed using my indoor exercise bike daily to help reach my target.
I read a wide range of books, enjoy painting, and try and get as much gardening done as I can. I find it so relaxing.
What is your favourite dish, and why?
It must be Chinese food; I like to try different dishes, but I normally stick to anything spicy when I order Chinese food.
